great game, but continued.. where is the second?
I really liked this game. It wasn't too difficult nor was it easy. The best thing about this game is the chapters. You don't have to wander through dozens of scenes to figure out where and what you need to do.There is also the "Area Clear" to let you know that you are finished with a particular part of the game.
This was more than I could have expected... Suspenseful & fun & I had a great time. Still waiting for a sequel... I hope more people review this game (It came out quite some time before review feature, so no wonder there aren't more reviews here for it). That said, if you love mystery and adventure games, too, this one is sure to excite and delight! As someone who used to make films, I really appreciate the filmic quality in games. This was a really fun one, and like I said... It was my first and got me hooked!
I have played a lot of the Big Fish HO games and I am pretty finicky about my graphics. The graphics in this game are easily in my top 5! The HOS are not so easy that I could blow through them, there were some objects that are hidden very well. Luckily, the game has a magnifying glass option to help you find those. I usually don't pay too much attention to the storyline, but this one was too good not to. You are not just going along and trying to get items to move forward, you also need to find items to build objects to move the story forward. Multiple locations are great for taking a break and coming back, which I appreciate when I cannot complete a game in one sitting. Overall, this game just earned a solid placing in my top 10 favorites. I can't wait for part 2!
I did not get enough of this game! I'm still waiting on the sequel! come on!! i want it! great graphics great story. what else you want!?
ESPECIALLY loved the ending! It's a cliff-hanger to be sure, but leaves me anxious for the sequel.... Can't wait! The only thing I didn't like about the game is that the puzzles were far too easy.... but the HO's get more challenging as you go along. Seems they should've been equally challenging. I love the "spells" you learn and use throughout the game and the various dolls and concoctions you need to assemble. There is no annoying diary, but a clear task list and a very helpful hint system. I enjoyed this game a lot and highly recommend it. It is a nice length too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! ')
I normally don't play voodoo or black magic games but this is a good game HOG players. Fun collecting items for the potions. Good artwork with great scenes. I really liked this game and hope there is a sequel.
Good game for intermediate Hidden object players. Fun to collect items for the potions. Good artwork with interesting scenes. I liked this game and look forward to the sequel.
