This is one of the best HOGs I have played in a long time. There was plenty of challenge and the mini games took some thought. There are three levels of difficulty so there is something there for everyone. I admit to two trips to the walkthrough because I was stuck. It played smoothly and did not have too much jumping around from screen. It also didn't have very many screens in any chapter so even if you had to backtrack it wasn't hard to know where you were. I really enjoyed myself and give it a big thumbs up!
I originally played the CE and gave it a fair rating as I finished the demo rather quickly, maybe I was just having a really good day. When BFG had the December CE sale, I went ahead and bought it. Again I will say the graphics are absolutely gorgeous, the storyline is good, no voice overs, and the music is fair. Fun sound effects. After the 1st chapter things do get a little darker (graphics-wise), but still nice and clear. The HOs are good with a lot of interaction play. The puzzles are good not overly challenging with some nice variations. You can earn all kinds of achievements which I think adds to the fun. There is also a fun factor involving skeletons and others. Two game modes, casual and expert, which makes it a great play for all level of players. Overall the game play was longer than I thought it would be probably around 5 1/2 to 6 hours including the bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and am glad I purchased the CE. Can I recommend the CE as well? Yes. Either way it makes for a fun play. I highly recomment this game.
I played both the Collectors and this Standered one theres no diffrence there both the same game you do get a bit more if you buy the Collectors one but there all the same so i bought the standered one.know to the game the graphics and sound on this game are great when i started the game i found it a bit hard but thats just me.i played the game for 1 hour i was hooked on it theres plenty to do in the game the mini games are tricky for me you might find them easy i didnt,if you wont a good game to play then buy this one if you need a lot of help buy the Collectors one if knot save a bit of money and buy the standered one hope that help you. i wont tell you any more about the game download it and make your own mine up.i would recommend this game to evey one.
I really like this one! There are lots of places to visit and the graphics are superb. Some puzzles are newer versions of older ones which makes a nice change. Shooting the various "bad guys" got to be a bit tedious but other than that I highly recommend this one. Lots of Hidden Objects to find. I'll play it again. Karen
This game has it all. in the first 5 minutes I thought "oh no, not another old professor young assistant looking for treasure." But then the game turned magical with outstanding hidden object scenes, tricky mini puzzles, beautiful graphics and a great soundtrack. The storyline is engaging. It was fun, fun, fun.
Love this game! Soothing music and challenging puzzles. Good hidden object scenes. I played on advanced so didn't get a lot of help figuring out how to do some of the puzzels. The game is visually beautiful, and the combination of nature and music add to the experience of the game. Some of my favorite puzzels, sliders, pipes, math.
I really enjoyed this game. The mini games made it fun and at times fairly challenging. The hidden object scene's where brighter than the usual games I play and so made it easier to define the objects..all in all a good game with good graphics and a good story-line. Will be looking for the next one :0)
I bought the CE version of this game and found it to be one of the most entertaining games as of lately. Not extraordinary, but all in all such fun that I got hooked and couldn't stop playing until I finished it.
This has become my favorite game. The different puzzles, items to look for, and the overall just plain fun of shooting all the undead as they appear randomly through the game. Extra challenge in the HO puzzles...finding pieces of an item then putting it all together!!
Based on the SE on expert and completed. This was a fun time. You are an archaeologist named Jane, but bearing a ridiculously similar appearance to Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. Incidentally you are probably the world's worst archaeologist. You are smashing jugs left and right in your quest to get who knows what. That's not the important thing. What is important is the super fun mix of HOG and mini-games, tons and tons of mini-games. Some are easy, some are more difficult. There are no click penalties, and there are lots of little bonuses to collect along the way. Each chapter has like 4 rooms you go back and forth between, which suits me just fine because I HATE the backtracking in most games. I think my total play time was about 5 hours or so, but I kept getting interrupted, so who knows. My point is that you get a lot of bang for your buck. I really wish there were more games along these lines. If I have to play one more liberate the spirit of whomever game... The music and graphics were great. Mostly bright, which is a nice change from all the cemeteries. I usually erase games from my computer after completing them, but this one's a keeper.
