love this game, have downloaded it a few times to replay.....please please have a sequel. is not as simple as other games at 1st but i really got into it, so different. don't know why it hasn't got lots of reviews. again please release a sequal

NOt Bad At all

I enjoyed this game. I liked that it was challenging and not very long to complete. I play it over and over again in my free time.

Party Down

I am totally hooked on this game and find myself playing it over and over again! New 'staff' characters are introduced as you play and you are giving a chance to improve their skills as you move through the game. The characters are ok, obviously based on real life people which is funny, especially when they hit the dance floor! The difficulty does increase gradually with extra tasks being introduced during the levels. It was not the hardest game I've played, but then I'm a TM nut! There are mini games midway between levels which are pretty easy .. again it just gives the player a break and something different for 5/10 minutes. My particular PC cannot have anything else running whilst I'm playing the game or it 'lags' and this is irritating! Each level is played to a bronze, silver or Gold rating and you can replay to get a better grade. All in all, a fun 'waste an hour' kind of game! Big Fish .... where is number 2 please?

Amazing - too short if anything!

Could have down with being a bit longer, but amazing game. Unique as far as time management games go, and fun. Loved it, need another one!!

Easy-going and fun

I got hooked into this game pretty fast. It seems a little short, but I think has quite a bit of replay value. I liked that there weren't any angry 'customers' who'd stomp off, so that made it quite relaxing, even if it got more and more busy as the levels progressed; if you didn't serve a celebrity fast enough, you just get less or no tips. Every new party had a mini-game midway through, most of them quite easy, and you could skip them if you wanted to too. The celebrities dancing made me giggle, and it was fun guessing the real life counterpart of the in-game celebrities.

Different From Other TM Games

After reading the other reviews, I thought I would add that it does have replay value and can be a relatively relaxing game. The storyline is typical Hollywood - getting that big break by rubbing elbows with the elite and taking advantage of a social situation. You and your staff's character traits develop through these interactions level after level. Some of the pros of the game are that the levels can be completed within the expert time. the minigames are a mix of no challenge and challenge (but you can skip), you can replay levels, and some of the guests mysteriously resemble real-life actors! The characters' comments during their interactions are humorous and good for a chuckle or two. A con is that you have to get used to a somewhat sluggish mouse reaction when moving characters, but that's not a big deal. All in all, I like the game and would recommend it for anyone who hates that maniacal mouse clicking.

Enjoyed It

It was a fun game to play. Somewhat of a challenge.

An amazing game, but slightly repetitive

This is a fabulous game, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The fun I had in this game at first was excellent. The visual/ sound quality was alright, but I must admit I kept thinking the game had frozen, when I had in actual fact just completed the level. The level of challenge was intermediate-expert. I wouldn't recommend this game to beginners or players slow with a mouse. I rated the storyline poor because I didn't get much of the story in the game, only a basic back-forth-done conversation between the character and whoever hired them. The only problems I have with this game is- 1. I didn't get enough of the story. I'm sorry if this is fussy, but I like to get about a quarter as much story as I get playing. 10 levels for a decent piece of the story or 5 levels for a small piece of the story is pretty much the maximum for me. 2. It was a bit repetitive. Only about one new feature came during a group of seven levels, then one when you get to the next party. Repeat that a lot of times. See what I mean? Overall I quite liked this game, but if there is a sequel it would be good to fix those things. Basically the game needs more excitement/ action.

Fun game but short!

I had fun playing this game. The celebrites with a minor name change were cool. Pretty short game but I will play it again. Glad I got it.

TERRIBLE graphics

I had to demote this game from four to three stars just based on the graphics. Just terrible! If you can stomach your way past that the game is decent. You are an aspiring actor that is trying to get a big break by catering for famous people. You need to talk to them to increase your popularity, and give them what they want when the bubble pops over their head. Pretty standard time management game stuff, but it was interesting and I did have fun.
