With the many locations and several levels in each, this will keep you going for as long as you want. Matching the different type of branches to clear tiles goes from easy to difficult as you progress. Definitely keeps your mind working, not just making the matches but anticipating those that will happen after that. A word to the wise, keep the dragonflies for when you really need them to clear tiles. They come in very handy later in the game as the matching gets harder and the lady bugs (who unclear the tiles) show up more often.
good. bought it. would recommend to people of all ages
I have played this game for years!!!! It is one of the best match games I have ever played :) Challenging and entretaining. Graphics are clear and crisp and love the "Ladybugs". It absolutely fantastic.
This game doesn't vary from its basic "make a continuous line of vines or branches" idea, but it quickly becomes very challenging. You have to make lines of 3 or more branches or vines to eliminate the tiles behind them. When there are no more tiles, you move up. But you have to plan and move with care. Lady bugs fly over and change tile-less squares back to tiles. For a quick-reflexes and planning game I really recommend this.
I guess I am the voice of opposition since I tend to review games that go against the current opinion. I was unsure how to rank the "level of challenge". I think it would be more descriptive to have the ranks listed as "very easy", "easy", "moderate", "difficult", "very difficult". So my "excellent" is the equivalent of "very difficult". I was enjoying this game for the first few countries. From the map it looks like there are 14 total. Each country has 5+ levels and the look of the vines changes from country to country which was fun. But then the game became frustrating because of the ladybugs that keep changing the tiles back. The boards get smaller and/or more difficult with tiles that are blocked. I gave up after starting my 7th country. And it looks like the high scores are only for a session. It doesn't seem to keep a running total if you leave and then come back so I'm not sure what the point is of tracking high scores. My time on a single board varied from 1+ minutes to 20+ minutes which is way too long for me to play a single board. I play to relax and enjoy a game, not to get frustrated and this game is way too frustrating for me. I may go back and replay the beginning levels but that's it. I would never be able to finish this game and I hate that. For those who enjoy a good challenge, definitely try this game. For those that don't, I would say "pass".
