Passable - but only just

I agree on most points with the previous reviewers with the exception that I did find the third herb and a glitch did not stop my game after 20 minutes. I too found that the magnifying glass next to the hint served no purpose at all. I also found that the game moved very slowly due to the slow jumpy movement of the arrow (cursor) and that the pointer had to be located exactly and precisely on the item to remove it. Anna's grandfather has succumbed to a terrible chinese curse that has laid him low and Anna needs to return to the temple to acquire a cure before it is too late. There are no voice overs only written dialogue and it is just enough to guide you through the game and let you know what's happening. The graphics are bright and clear and fairly well defined with only a few dark areas - the underwater views are not so clear. The puzzles were, in the main quite satisfactory and did not need a great deal of brain power but the hidden objects were a different story. Most were very small almost minute which made lining up a shaky cursor very difficilt. I perservered with the game until the end and did finally completed it but it was a challenge. It is not one of the best games to come out of the Big Fish pond by far but it is passable - but only just.

Brown recluse cat

This looked like a fun HO game but the graphics are not that great and finding some of the objects was very difficult because of this. I would not suggest playing this game unless you want to spend forever looking for one object but it could be a challenge for some, just not me.

The tiniest objects ever

This is from Domini Games & unfortunately I was not able to play long enough to give an informed review as to the gameplay, the hidden objects were so small as to be almost invisible. There was a magnifiying glass above the hint & I thought perhaps that it could be used to scrutinise the scene but not so unfortunately. There was potential for an interesting game as some items had to be combined in the inventory or two pieces placed together in the H0 scene to make a whole. The graphics were sharp & clear, although the artwork was rather poor in its depiction of people the scenery was very well drawn. There was no option to play widescreen so I had large black bars either side. There are no voiceovers & the music was not my cup of tea so I switched it off. The hint recharges at 1 minute 10 seconds & that feels like a very long time. There was a misclick penalty; I found it because the only way to deal with the small H0s was to click everything in the hope that I might find an object. Not a buy for me.

Good Idea Poor Execution

The story line caught my interest and the game has potential but the teeny tiny objects made me delete the game before the trial was even over. If you are looking for a challenge this game will definitely give you one as some objects are almost invisible and most are difficult to spot. With all the HO games out there this one is not one you want to waste your time or money on.

Bad graphics make this a waste

The pictures are so small, crowded, and grainy that any charm the game may have offered is lost.

Should be a good game but...

The storyline is interesting but I think it is only the nice part of this HOG. The objects are too small and sometimes you can?t find them. They are almost invisible. You don?t know what to do and keep going back and forth trying to find something. I didn?t like.

Unplayable

Just look at the blog tips to see what's wrong with this game. It has a terrible glitch in it that stops many players about 20 minutes or so into the game. Might have been good but I, for one, was unable to find out because all my efforts to find the 3rd herb were to no avail.

Not worth it

I just played the demo for this game & I'm greatly disapointed. The story seemed interesting & the graphics were ok, but after that it goes straight downhill. First of all, all of the hidden objects are so small that it's hard to find anything. Second, after the opening story the game should have started on the journey to finding the lost temple. Not spend forever running around taking care of grandpa & doing other things first. In my opinion this game just isn't worth buying.
