Enjoyed every last minute of this game! And I'm even replaying it already. I'm in love. LOL. The voiceovers, the actors/acting, the action, the puzzles. I had to use the hint button a few times and some of the puzzles were difficult but most were just plain enjoyable! Have fun with this game. Wait until u play the bonus section! ;)
Just finished the main game and was thrilled with it. Loved Raincliff and this has many elements of it. I loved the music, the drama, particularly all the cut scenes which draw you into the action. Loved the real people in those scenes. Absolutely no gliches, hint button brilliant, innovation in HOS's. Well worth the money!! Thanks Big Fish.
The storyline is so great, back to the history of Templars! In the beginning seems easy, but it will getting more complicate and challenger..and always better. The cute scenes are with real people, is amazing ! There are a lot of brand new and enjoyable mini-games . The HOS are also different - the inventory has to be used and sometimes does not end at the moment, you got to return later! Is long, fun, challenging, very nice atmosphere...so, really worth the price! highly recommend!
If you don't want to find yourself stumped early on in the game, don't play in hardcore mode. This game is a bit more difficult than some other HO games. I finished the game in HC mode, but not without a bit of help from the Strategy Guide. The HO scenes are pretty good, some objects are harder to get to than others (you'll see why). Some of the mini games are a little difficult, but maybe that's just me. The soundtrack is good, and you get quite a bit in the extra content; the gameplay is pretty decent.
What I loved - clear and interesting graphics, great cut scenes which you can watch again, achievements, collect at least 50 of a certain item through out the game. Can also choose the level of difficulty you want to play at. Also liked that there is a map. Interesting story line with some startling moments. A variety of puzzles, some of them quite easy. There's a lot of running around which I like but not everybody does. Overall a well put together game with a lot of attention to detail.
Wow .. this is a great game!! Think Raincliff ... (even better than I think) It even had the little frog in the black coat in one of the HO scenes. Anyway.. this game is really fabulous. Great detail, lots of color, lots of locations and loved the rain effect. The storyline is front and center and keeps you interested. Besides the main goal of solving the mystery of the knights, there are all kinds of other acheivements to acheive plus the side search for fifty doves. The cut scenes are really well done and offer a few jumps in the chair. You could even replay video of some of the cut scenes in the diary. There are many many inventory items to figure out and a bit of a new twist.. you sometimes need to use them in the HO scenes. A good map and helpful hint system. So cons?? hmm I can't think of any. This is exactly the kind of game I would like to play all of the time. The other plus is that it's long. I don't know about anyone else but I always feel kinda let down by games that end too quickly. It takes me a bit to really get into them so length is really important.. at least to me. Really enjoyed this one and have not yet played the extra. Please keep one like this one coming. Loved it.
This game gets A++++. The storyline is interesting and the game holds your attention until the end. The hidden object scenes are clear and most can be found without to much difficulty. The puzzles are well diversity . I, had hours of fun with this game.I would recommended this game to all other big fish game players out there. Hope this review helps.
I've been playing BFG hidden Object games for years. This is one of the best ones. It's challenging, but you too, as you can adjust your level of play, the graphics and music are excellent, and I haven't found any glitches yet. Well worth the cost of the game.
Loved this game - good storyline and intriguing puzzles. Graphics are superb - especially the Collectors edition. Puzzles and HOS challenging yet not too difficult. You get to blow up walls (with dynamite and timers) - loved the explosive effects. Finished the game in a day in easy mode - will try hardcore next to get more of the achievement awards. I liked the alternate endings in the Extra Game Play.
I knew after the first 15 minutes that I had to have this full CE version. First, there were various levels of challenge. For the record, I play the Casual level and it was challenging without being frustrating. Second, the HINT button actually gave valuable information, even when you were in a HOS. Third, it was not the same old story. And, although there were junkpile HOS, the items were not anachronistic and each HOS was usually a mini game in itself, using found objects and items from inventory. I also liked, before the end of the demo, how old mini game styles were given new twists, such as using flower vines on the tangled string mini game. There were others, but that's the one that kind of sold me. I really enjoyed the extra game play at the end, continuing with a combination of HOS and adventure. If gave me probably another hour and a half to two hours play. Definitely a buy for me, and well worth it.
