After buying this game a long time ago, I couldn't finish it and I could not discover any hints online as to what I was doing wrong! So I stopped playing. Then we got a new computer, and I decided to install all my Big Fish games again. This time, I managed to finish almost every individual solitaire game with gold status, and I discovered THAT is the key!!! So I have now completed the whole game :# I enjoy all the different types of solitaire games in this one game, and am thankful for the instructions and demos included. Once the entire game is completed, we can go back and play any prior game by itself #can do each individual game once it is done being played too but I had to finish ALL the games!!). I recommend this game if you LOVE all types of solitaire :) If I'm going to spend my time on the computer, I want variety!!
I just love this game, it has really nice graphics and great game play. Well worth the download and the $6.99 they ask for!! I bought this a few years ago and always come back to play it, it also has classic game play where you can select the game you wish to play after you have finished that level. I give this a five star would give more if it was offered. Two thumbs up WAAAAY UP!!
I love this game and wish there were more with a different theme as once I complete all the levels, I go back as a different user and start over. I really enjoy the different games, some of which I have never heard of but were so much fun. This is one of my all time favorite BF games and that says something since I am a die-hard Hidden Object player.
I really like the variety of solitaire games when playing the storyline mode. Most solitaire games these days are just the one card higher or lower over and over again. These are the kind of solitaire games I like to play. I wish there were more solitaire games like this.
Finally, a solitaire game that really delivers! It's not the same, single solitaire [i.e., golf, Klondike, or mahjong passing for a card game] that almost all the other "solitaire" games are. This offers a great variety of solitaire games. You can play through the storyline [I love sailing - this was wonderful] or you can go right to any individual solitaire game once you unlock them through the adventure gameplay [which is fairly easy to do]. Because of the variety of games, this is perfect for all skill levels - easy to expert. The visuals are pleasing, as are the sound effects and music. I heartily recommend this game to anyone that likes true solitaire games.
love that each level is a different form of solitare!
This solitaire actually was a different game each time. Really good way to review or learn new games.
Most solitaire games I have run across on Big Fish are actually just one game with some kind of story line taking place between hands. This game actually has a LOT of different solitaire games. If you play in the mode with the story line, you play one type of solitaire such as Klondike, then go back to the menu where the story line transports you to the next game which may be Australian, etc. There are four or five different kinds of solitaire in each level. When you level up, the background changes to a different seaside resort. There is a locked solitaire game at the end of each level which you can only unlock by winning a minigame. Unfortunately, the minigames were ALL types of game that I don't like. At first I kept on until I could win the minigame so that I could unlock the bonus game of solitaire, but eventually I realized that the bonus games were not the style I prefer anyway, so I quit playing the story line and just went on to the other mode of play where you just choose which type of solitaire you want to play from a list. I like this better because I can just play those varieties of solitaire that are my favorites. Other things I like about this game: *There are very good instructions to help you learn how to play those games you are not familiar with. *There are always hints available if you are stuck. *You earn "bonuses" which are really earned cheats, so that you can usually win the game. What can I say, I like to win! If you like solitaire, this is the best one I have found for the computer.
Over all a very fun game to play because of the variety in so many different boards and ways to play solitaire. If you like to play solitaire this is the game to play. I like that the "How to Play" helps you learn many different ways to play and the demonstration is very helpful. This is a very fun and exciting getaway, hard to leave this vacation and return from it!!!! I couldn't get myself away from it!! ;)
Very enjoyable solitaire game. Looked forward to next port of call..most likely will purchase to keep on traveling!!
